Tesoro Anacortes refinery fire

An explosion and fire at a Washington state oil refinery shook homes and shot flames into the night sky early Friday, killing three people and critically injuring four others.

The fire struck the Tesoro Corp. refinery in Anacortes, about 70 miles north of Seattle on Puget Sound, at about 12:30 a.m., the company said. The blaze occurred while maintenance work was being performed and was extinguished in about 90 minutes.

Four employees are hospitalized with major burns over the majority of their bodies. Susan Gregg-Hanson, a spokeswoman for Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, said they are two women, 29 and 36, and two men 34 and 41.

The Tesoro Anacortes refinery fire is the deadliest accident involving production at a U.S. refinery since the BP (BP.L) Texas City explosion on March 23, 2005 in which 15 workers were killed and 180 others injured.

We have to read many books and tutorial when we study subjects. I have seen many people try to find ebooks on internet but many of them not find what they are looking for. But personally when I need an ebook I just go to 4shared.com and conduct a file search. Many time result is positive and I can get good result. 4shared search engine is not very optimized one so people must be tactful when perform search. Do not use full title of the ebook at once. Most of the time try to use author name or part of book name. Use correct spellings because 4shared search engine is not like Google. It does not correct spellings

University of Moratuwa gets IChemE accreditation

THE University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka has become the country's first academic institution to earn IChemE accreditation. Moratuwa's BSc (Hons) in chemical engineering has been accredited at bachelor level, from the current academic year up to and including entry year 2011.

This is a big achievement of Chemical and Process Engineering department of University of Moratuwa. The students will benefited in building their professional life in international scale.
