According to the nature of chemical engineering degree an industrial chemistry would be a very good supportive major for a double major. But upon your future carrier plan or higher studies there can be another options. As example if you wish to develop your carrier in biochemical engineering biological subjects would be great selection.
Anyway in wide scope a chemistry degree wouldn't be too terribly difficult to pick up along with a ChE degree. A lot of your electives and core work will be the same, so that's your best bet.
